Certified Physical Education

UFIT provides certified teachers to administer an exceptional physical education program that fits the specific needs of each individual school.

UFIT’s physical activity sessions are conducted by a credentialed teacher and utilize the California Model Content Standards for PE K-12 adopted by the district which specify what a student should know and be able to do by the end of each grade level. Students engage in moderate to vigorous movement during at least fifty percent of the psychomotor lesson.

The structure of the lesson plan includes a warm-up, activity lesson, and a cool-down. The skill is modeled by the teacher and students practice fitness activities in pairs or small groups to accomplish assigned learning tasks, drills or games. Activity lessons are available in the PYS Providing Youth Support for Kids.

  • There is one (1) Certificated Instructor and coaches based on the number of classes per instructional hour.

  • Our PE program can be combined with our Game-time Recess and Lunch for primary grades and our Sports Lunch and Afterschool program for secondary grades.

  • We customize our program to fit your school’s specific needs.
