After School Sports Program
UFIT proudly offers after-school, team-based sports programs designed to promote inclusivity and foster personal growth through advocacy and effective communication. Our programs go beyond simply teaching the basics of sports—they aim to instill important life skills that students carry with them both on and off the field. Coaches work closely with students, teaching not only the rules and techniques of various sports but also emphasizing the importance of teamwork, leadership, and respect for others.
After school, students come together to form teams, participating in structured practices led by experienced coaches who provide guidance and mentorship. These sessions help students improve their physical abilities, develop confidence, and build stronger social bonds with their peers. The UFIT program focuses on creating a supportive and engaging environment where all participants, regardless of skill level, feel valued and encouraged.
As part of the program, students have the exciting opportunity to compete against other UFIT schools, putting their skills to the test in a fun, friendly, and competitive atmosphere. These competitions are not just about winning medals, but about building character, learning to handle both victory and defeat with grace, and working together toward a common goal. The drive for success on the field becomes a lesson in perseverance, discipline, and sportsmanship.
In addition to fostering physical fitness, UFIT’s after-school programs are a vehicle for students to develop key communication skills, advocate for themselves and their teammates, and learn the importance of collaboration. Through sports, we aim to create a culture of inclusivity where every child has the chance to participate, grow, and shine.
